Marianna Bell, Principal

Studied in the Sportive school of Olympic figure skating and Ballet school in Kharkiv. At the same time finished Music school (piano). Graduated from Kharkov Music collage (theory, piano, vocal) and University with Master degree in arts, later got second master degree in philology and pedagogy.

Marianna Bell teaching music theory, piano and choreography from 1997 in public and private schools. Worked on Ukraine National Tv as a writer and presenter of arts programs. From 2000 event planner for schools and city. From 2010 principal of Wonderlandarts school. She is a creator, editor, and producer of numerous shows of Wonderlandarts, a choreograph of dances for competitions and festivals. Last few years she is working as a director of concerts, organizer of the tours for the popular artists in Canada. From 2018 – principal of Amicus Performing Society in The Columbia Theatre.

ACTING SCHOOL
Damon Bradley Jang

Drama, Voice and Dance Damon is a multifaceted performing artist and teacher and loves taking on a challenge. He holds a Bachelors Degree and Musical Theatre Diploma from Capilano University, trailed at the Banff Arts Centre and has studied Broadway Dance Centre New York City and Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver.

As a performer, he has performed with Theatre Under The Stars (West Side Story, Singin In The Rain), Royal City Musical Theatre (Annie, Hello Dolly), Fighting Chance Productions (CATS), Gateway Theatre(Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Foursome) and many others around the city.
He works often as a vocal coach, choreographer or director in companies Highlights of his work include; Vagabond Players (Little Shop Of Horrors- Choreographer), Bard In The Valley (Much Ado About Nothing, Choreographer) and Northshore Light Opera Society (Into The Woods, Once Upon A Mattress, Choreographer) as well as directing and choreographing the lower mainland premiere Cinderella (Broadway Edition) for Byrne Creek Secondary and the Vancouver Premier of “Once On This Island” for Fabulist Theatre, of which he won a Broadway World Vancouver award for Best Direction and Choreography (with lead choreographer, Marion Landers)
He continues to teach competitive and recreation dance, drama and voice schools around the lower mainland but is excited to embark on this new journey with Wonderland Arts.

ART SCHOOL
Alex Argen

Alex Argen – artist-painter, teacher of artistic disciplines. His educational background includes a degree in Education and Fine Arts from Art College, which he graduated with distinction (“specialist” in the direction “Art”, specialties:

Fine Arts, Specialization: Painting, Qualification: Artist-Painter, Teacher), and Higher Academy of Art and Design (Kharkiv), he was there for 5 years, during which studied different areas and media to ensure a fundamental understanding of the methods and practice of highly realistic oil painting, watercolor, pencil drawing and pen and ink, the history of Ancient and Modern Art, Human Anatomy, Philosophy and Aesthetics, the art of fine writing or “calligraphy”, lithography and engraving, etc., and graduated with qualifying level – the Bachelor, (Direction ” Fine arts”. Specialization: Graphics). As an art educator began teaching of drawing and painting at The State School of Art in 1987. His commissions include works from portraits and landscapes to large-scaled Trompe l`oeil and paintings onto ceilings for private residences, exterior Monumental Decorative Paintings for the private residential sector, and civic buildings. His monumental paintings and interior artworks can be found at residential and commercial architectural spaces in Canada, the US, Middle East and in Europe. His artworks can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, Germany, Israel, Egypt, Australia, Russia, and Ukraine. At present, he works and lives in New Westminster, BC, Canada.

MUSIC SCHOOL

Jane Perrett

Jane Perrett born and raised in the lower mainland of British Colombia, Canada. Jane studied under the tutelage of Maria Wrzosek With performances across Canada and parts of Europe, Jane was also the featured Soprano on the 2011 “Opera Cruise” aboard the spectacular “Regent Seven Seas Navigator” sailing between Venice to Monaco.

“Her voice exhibits carful study and application to a three octave range that is seamless in execution. She sustains the rich tonal color expected of a mezzo soprano right into her upper register, giving added poignancy and warmth” OPERA CANADA MAGAZINE An extensive repertoire includes some of Puccini’s most beloved heroines, Madam Butterly’s Un bel di, Tosca’s “Vissi D’arte, Vissi D’amore”, Gianni Schicchi’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” as well as Verdi arias including Ta Che La Notte (Il Trovatore); Sempre Libera (La Traviata) and Mozart’s “Queen of the Night” from his opera The Magic Flute. While opera defines her, Jane is an amazingly versatile performer who will often delight audiences with her rendition of Connie Francis, Anna Moffo, Patsy Cline, Nana Mouskouri and Barbra Streisand, to mention just a few. Recent performances have included the part of Fiametta in The Gondoliers; appearances at the Pan Pacific Opera Buffet, Vancouver Italian Cultural Centre, Vancouver’s “Opera Zone”, and with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Jane Perrett is currently accepting students that wish to learn more about singing and producing a beautiful even sound .​
